Sterling Surfaces

Sterling Surfaces

Our story is quite humble really; we’re simply driven by creativity. In 1984, Kitchen Associates, Inc. of Sterling, Massachusetts realized that they needed a separate division to handle all their solid surfacing/ countertop needs, hence the advent of Sterling Surfaces. It is commonplace for Sterling Surfaces to perform technically demanding, unusual, and high profile projects. In fact, the national manufacturers recommend us to be the fabricator on these jobs! One of these projects, The Grand Central Furniture Collection (for Grand Central Station in New York City), helped drive the design awareness of the almost unlimited possibilities of Solid Surface for the Architectural and Design community.

Sterling Surfaces supplied the Corian? countertops in the IHCD’s universally designed kitchen. When you come to visit, you’ll be sure to notice the warm orange color and customized shape of the counter space – it is a kitchen like no other! It shows that Sterling Surfaces’ commitment to innovation and quality melds seamlessly with our dedication to thoughtful, sustainable design. Using a local company also helps reduce our carbon footprint! To see an example of their custom surface work, please visit the IHCD, or Sterling Surfaces (www.sterlingsurfaces.com).
