Take a Virtual Tour

The Institute for Human Centered Design will bring that international story to Boston with a mix of showroom experiences. Manufacturers on the cutting edge of the field, some household names and some unfamiliar to American audiences, will exhibit their actual products as well as demonstrating products via DVD. One area will be dedicated to making the business case for universal design.

The current IHCD corporate exhibitors are Toyota and Humanscale. Please visit the Institute to get a hands-on experience! You can interact with the Humanscale and Toyota exhibits and products and learn more about these two innovated and design-conscious companies!

Other exhibits will showcase projects and competitions from the UK, Europe, Japan and anywhere in the world where good examples illuminate the vision of socially sustainable design. The Portland Street space itself has been built out as a demonstration space for universal design.
