Include 2003 Scientific Committee Salutes Elaine Ostroff

In appreciation and recognition of her leadership, personal dedication and groundbreaking work in developing and promoting the concept of universal design in the USA and beyond the Include 2003 Scientific Committee salutes Elaine Ostroff.

There were three awards presented at the Include 2003: Inclusive Design for Society and Business International Conference at the Royal College of Art, London, UK. The citations for the Include 2003 Scientific Committee Awards reflect the international nature of the conference, representing Japan, the USA and Europe respectively.

The Awards were presented on 28 March 2003 by Prof Alastair Macdonald, Glasgow School of Art (Chairman) and Rama Gheerawo, Helen Hamlyn Research Centre (Deputy Chairman).
