Description

The Design & Industry(DAI) Department at San Francisco State University (SFSU) invites you to "OCULUS": our 19th annual design exhibit to showcase our student’s best and most cutting-edge inventions and illustrations.

From Tuesday, May 13th through Friday May 16th, "OCULUS" will showcase a collection of truly remarkable visual graphic imagery, digital media and information design, as well as innovative product concepts, prototypes and technology applications.

The exhibition is open to the public from 4:00 – 9:00 pm, May 13th; 9am to 9pm, May 14th & 15th and from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Friday, May 16th, in the Jack Adams Hall auditorium on the top floor of the Cesar Chavez Center at SFSU.

We would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the Opening Reception on Wednesday, May 14th, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. We anticipate an audience of over 300 people on the evening of the reception.

The purpose of the reception is to launch the opening of the annual exhibit of DAI student design projects. In addition to celebrating the opening of the student exhibit, the reception provides an ideal venue and opportunity to recognize and award the outstanding academic achievements and community contributions that DAI students have accomplished in the 2007/2008 academic year.

Come witness a new wave in design as over 100 of our best students exhibit projects that have taken on increasingly challenging projects that meet the needs and trends of today’s society.
