Lise grew up and studied in Belgium, near Brussels, where she earned a Masters Degree in Industrial Design. During her study, she focused most of her projects on user-centered products, that were designed to improve the lives of the users. She has always had a keen interest in sustainable design and design for social equity.

After travelling a while around the Globe to gather experience from diverse design studios and companies in many different design fields-- from furniture and lighting design in London; packaging and graphic design in France; fashion design in Reykjavik; to product design at Tupperware in Belgium. She moved to Boston in 2011 to start working with IHCD as a product and graphic designer.

Her recent projects include: signage and publication design for the Conference Products and Technology that Change People Lives, the publication Directional sense: How to find your way around and the design of a multisensory space for the Shift Boston competition – Barge 2011.
